Welcome to Mavericks, Cormac Karl Christie! Christie’s first 17 minutes in a Mavs uniform was very productive, but don’t tell Nico Harrison how much you enjoyed seeing the nica, Mavs fans. He still has almost 40 hours from this writing to work an appointment to send Christie Packing to Thanasi’s Antetokounmpo and a bag of sand.

Christie made all three of his 3-point attempts at the bench, picked up a steal within seconds after entering the game midway through the first, and was one of four mavericks in double when Mavs took a 65-58 lead into the break. He noted 10 points and five boards for 17 effective minutes after entering the game on average just over 10 points as a start in his last 23 games in a Los Angeles Lakers uniform.

His driving shoes over Edwards a minute later pushed the Philly lead up to 103-95. He got everything he wanted in the fourth quarter, but it was also Irving. Christie was instrumental in the small 9-0 race late, with Mavs returning the lead with 4:25 back to play. 29/11/10: EMBIID’S TRIPLE DOUBLE IN HIS FIRST GAME IN A MONTH

Dallas hurt the position after Daniel Gafford went out late with a fine -tuned shoulder, and Embiid was the charity for a thin Dallas frontcourt all evening. He put together an impressive 29-point, 11-bound, 10-assisting performance in his first game back from the annoying knee injury that saw him miss out on the last month. He only hit one of two free kicks to give Mavs a better chance of a win on their last possession, but the venue Dallas-Bunch did not have a clear idea of what to do with the ball in crunch time. With a strong defensive pressure on Irving on Dallas’ final possession, the rest of the team came up short.
