Great Pro Wrestling -Rivalization is back on … Right in time for Wrestlemania

For the past few years we have got the “Odd pair best friends” version of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. This latest iteration of their relationship on screen was started with a reunion from 2023 at Smackdownand set the scene for their wwe -tag -titel gains on Wrestlemania 39.

But all good things end, especially in Pro Wrestling – and especially with these two. They have tried to kill each other and turn off since they were Kevin Steen and El Genico*back in their Ring of Honor Days **.

There have been signs for months, we approached the end of a friendship arch at “The Ko and Sami Show”. Owens was not fond of Zayn’s decision to reunite with Roman Reigns. He did not join in Royal rumble.

Zayn appeared during this ladder fight in Indianapolis, but he was there to show support and concern for both men and not secure an Owens victory. Rhodes preserved.

Last night (February 3rd), Sami stood over cm punk in the main event of Raw. Both men have had their problems with punk over the years but true to their figures is Zayn willing to get on with A “pure slate” While Kev has moved on, but is not quite ready to forgive and forget. So when Sami Shook Punk’s hand after losing an elimination chamber -qualifying fight to punk, Owens attacked.

Ko, who sported a black eye and still sold the effects of the ladder match, delivered a forearm to the back of Zayn’s head, sending him crash into punk and sent him to the floor. Owens wasn’t done; Then he used the PileDriver package, which he has weakened people with too late and that he often spent on Genico during their Roh-Fejder-to take his once countervaying former friend out.

Raw ended, but the show went ahead for those present at Cleveland’s Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. Zayn sold the Piledriver package for minutes until a stretcher arrived to take him in the back. Punk checked on and stayed with him through.

And then, just days after we officially started on the road to Wrestlemania 41Owens has problems with punk and zayn. The former is likely to be settled (for now) on the way to something even bigger for punk. The latter? My money is on Owens and Zayn who have their other ‘Mania Singles Match *** in Las Vegas.

If I am right, it is a sure effort that we hear a “battle forever” sang out of the allegiant stage under one.

* “But Sean, Generico disappeared in Mexico, where he took care of orphans …” Have fun with it all you like. Here’s my personal attitude toward it.
** crazy as the one for an old head like me, but more of their story has played out in WWE than it did in Roh.
*** Their first, at Wrestlemania 37was fine. But it was more about getting to Ko Stunning Logan Paul than anything else.
