Incredible photo shows that the US Navy uses laser weapons called ‘Helios’ from warship

A jaw-dropping new photo shows the US Navy firing by a drone-destroying laser weapon-weapon Helios-from one of its warships.

The undated image that was published in US Center for CounterMeasures’ Annual Report This month, the war match caught the laser technology of the war that was fired from the USS Preble Destroyer in the middle of the sea.

In addition to being used as a destructive laser, weapons can act as an optical dazzler in an attempt to interfere with intelligence and reconnaissance sensors.
