Tiger Woods announces the death of Mother Kuldida, ‘My Biggest Fan’ | Tiger Woods

Tiger Woods announced on Tuesday that his mother Kuldida was dead and paid tribute to her as “my biggest fan”.

“It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share my dear mother, Kuldida Woods, died early this morning,” the 15-time big champion wrote on Instagram.

“My mother was a nature power that all her own, her spirit was simply undeniable. She was quick with the needle and a laugh. She was my biggest fan, biggest supporter, without her none of my personal results would have been possible. She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie.

“Thank you all for your support, prayers and privacy at this difficult time for me and my family. Love you mom. “

Kuldida, a Thai citizen, met Woods’ father Earl when he served in the US military in Bangkok in the late 1960s.

Woods is an always present on the golf course under her son’s greatest triumphs, and has often spoken lovingly about how his mother’s support helped shape his career and noticed in an interview how he was more afraid of her than his father.

“He was very worldly and deep in his thinking,” Woods said of his father. “My mother was enforced. My dad may have been in the special forces, but I was never afraid of him. My mom is still here and I’m still deadly scared of her. She is a very hard, hard old lady, very demanding. She was the hand, she was the one I love her so much. “

Woods did not reveal the cause of death to her mother, who last week attended her son’s TGL match in Florida.

Earl Woods died in 2006.
