“It is with heartfelt sadness that I want to share my dear mother, Kuldida Woods, died early this morning,” the 15-time big champion wrote on Instagram.

She was my biggest fan, biggest supporter, without her none of my personal results would have been possible. She was loved by so many, but especially by her two grandchildren, Sam and Charlie.

Kuldida, a Thai citizen, met Woods’ father Earl when he served in the US military in Bangkok in the late 1960s.
