Craig Laughlin steady and restore after a successful open -hearted surgery

Craig Laughlins Open-heart operation to repair a bicuspid aortic valve and a blocked left anterior falling artery was a success. Laughlin reviewed the procedure this morning and was admitted to the ICU early in the afternoon.

Courtney LaughlinLocker’s daughter published an update on his social media accounts shortly before the Puck Drop of the Washington Capitals’ match against Florida Panthers.

Courtney wrote:

#Lockerstrong Update: My father is stable after reviewing what the surgeon said was a successful operation. He still has a long way to go on his way to improvement and will be in ICU for at least another day. Thanks to our #allcaps family for each message and prayer

Joe Beninati and Alan May Added a few additional details during the monumental sports networking network steel cast, including that Laughlin was his “feisty” himself.

Joe Beninati: I just saw a text from his daughter Courtney that said Craig is stable. He is still under with regard to anesthesia. I can imagine that they will not bring him out too soon, it will take some time there. They have questioned him, I understand, and he has reacted in his usual feisty way. All in all, it sounds like things were going very well today and we hope it will continue overnight. He would love to be here because the champies are in town and this is an impressive team from South Florida.

Alan May: Words are that they woke up closet a little ago and asked him where he was at and said, “At the damn hospital.”

At Capital One Arena, there were several tribute to Laughlin, whose operation fell the same day as heart health awareness evening. The capitals of the capitals had lapel founder shaped like a heart with Laughlin’s number 18 inside.

Both the capitals TV and radio team also got the hands of the closet’s strong shirts and wore them during the broadcast.

Inside the arena, capitals announced by ads Byron Hudtloff, who fills for Wes Johnson, Laughlin’s successful operation in the first period. The camera then panned to Courtney that was in the building to donate $ 10,000 to the American Heart Association. Courtney could be seen that he was mouthed to the crowd, “thank you.”

The capitals also sent a video during the first break where many of the capitals’ stars wanted Laughlin well in his improvement.

Earlier in the day, the capitals published a photo of a bending Alex Ovechkin who posed in a closet’s strong shirt.
