LeBron James ‘son endorses rough excursion in the South Bay Lakers’ NBA G League defeat (3 February)

Bronny James and South Bay Lakers suffered a loss of 105-101 against Oklahoma City Blue in a NBA G League matchup at UCLA Health Training Center Monday. Bronny was part of the starting lineup with Jordan Goodwin, Christian Koloko, Trey Jemison III and GRAYSON MURPHY.

Bronny had a tough excursion, struggled with shooting efficiency and committed more revenue. While facing challenges at the offensive end, he made a strong influence defensively.

Lakers Rookie finished the game with 16 points on 5 of 17 shoots from the field, including 2 out of 8 in addition to the arch, and 2 of 3 from the free throwing line. He also contributed three rebounds, five assists, three steals and a block, but ended up with a plus/minus of -18.

The former USC guard finally found its rhythm and knocked his first shot from inside the arch. His defensive energy was clear and contributed to the strong push of the South Bay Lakers in the first quarter.

Bronny finished the opening period with six points on 1 in 4 shoots, including 0 of 1 from 3-point range. He also added a rebound, two assists, a stealing and committed revenue.

The young guard started the second quarter on a positive note and sinked a smooth fadeaway jumper. However, his shooting battles continued. Despite creating scoring opportunities for his teammates, he only managed to convert one of his five shot attempts.

At the break, Bronny had recorded eight points on 2 of 9 shoots, including 0 of 2 beyond the arch. He also contributed two rebounds, four assists and one stealing.

Bronny continued to fight his shooting as Hans Misses stacked up in the third quarter. Lakers-Rokie went 2 of 4 from the field during the period and eventually connected to his first 3-point in the final moments.

However, his shooting -disorders continued in the fourth quarter, when his shot refused to fall. In the end, his hard night contributed to South Bay Lakers’ collapse as they spread their lead and lost games.
