76ers can now target against forgotten star after luka-ad trade madness

The Philadelphia 76ers was a vacant customer tonight, but they might not have missed out on what just happened in the NBA. In the most shocking trade in the NBA story, Maverick’s just traded superstar Luka Doncic for Lakers for Anthony Davis.

Originally framed as a three -team agreement sent the move shockwaves globally, with the majority of fans even belief that Espns Shams Charania, Who broke the news firstwas hacked. However, several businesses have since confirmed the report, and now both superstars are on their way to their new, respective homes.

In the midst of all this madness, this could not be the last step that these teams pull off before the trade deadline. And if so, the 76s have a massive opportunity to sneak into an untapped bidding war for one of the forgotten players trapped in the deal.

76s should now act for Lakers’ Austin Reaves

Lakers pairing Luka with LeBron James are definitely ugly than what it seems on the surface. Both players have overlapping skills and no one is particularly skilled defensively. But wait, do we forget someone here?

Well, this trait could also spell the end of Austin Reaves in LA. While he has been doing better this season, he is simply meaningless to now having given Luka and LeBron will cannibalize his role in moving on.

Given this and the fact that he earns very reasonable wages, this makes a perfect trade target for Philly. The 76s are in dire need of another ball trader in the set -up, and while Reaves is an imperfect table set, he would immediately be one of the best playmakers on the guard schedule if he lands in Philadelphia.

Reaves earn only approx. $ 13.5 million a year, which would make it easy for the 76s to match by simply consolidating some of their medium -sized contracts. Heck, if they manage to give what Lakers want, they may not even need to postpone draft choices to sweeten the pot.

Lakers are now completely out of large bodies, while the 76s can utilize some of theirs, such as other drummonds for kickstart discussions about a trade. Hopefully Los Angeles would bite, although it also depends on Philly actually registering interest on Reave’s.

The trade deadline looks like it could bring a wealth of fireworks this season. Hopefully, the Philadelphia 76ers can enter the action and put the team in a better position for now and the future.
