Alison Hammond ‘wants to take a whole year of TV’ after she received a brutal setback for a new BBC travel show with her teenage son.

The TV star, 49, has confessed that she wants to find time for the next ten years traveling around the world.

While she is eager to explore a way of different countries, she confirmed that she will not settle on a plane tomorrow.

She told me Heat and Bella: ‘For the next 10 years I will travel around the world.

“I would very much like to take a year off and just go and travel.

‘Not just yet, but one day. I have to see the world before I die! ‘

Alison was recently blown up by viewers as they accused her of using her new travel series to get a ‘free holiday’ with her son Aidan.

She went with her son Aidan, 19, to play the lead role in her new BBC series Alison Hammonds Florida unpacked.

The new 10-part series, which was broadcast on Monday night, sees the mother-son duo traveling the state in an attempt to find hidden pearls at a low price.

In the first episode, Alison and Aidan rented a bobil to explore Florida’s Silver Springs.

But the viewers were abandoned by the series after only one episode.
