Smooth roads leading to multiple crashes around the KC area

Kansas City, Mo. – More crashes around the Metro in Kansas City leads to closures and school closures.

According to KC Scout, there are several crashes around the city that affect more intermediate states and roads.

Kansas City Fire Department of Battalion Michael Hopkins urges drivers to use extreme caution when going out this morning when icy road conditions worsen.

National Weather Service also published an update around 1 p.m. 03:30, which called for caution while driving today.

Overland Park Police Department has also activated their walk-in report protocol for non-injury accidents. If you are involved in a minor crash, exchanging information with the other driver and then submitting a report at the police station at 12400 fetus or 8500 Antioch as the weather improves.
