Highline public schools at 2-hour delay Tuesday due to icy roads

All schools in Highline Public Schools District work after a two-hour delay on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 due to icy road conditions, especially in the southern part of the district, the district advertised.

Buses run on their regular routes, but two hours later than usual.

Plan adjustments:

  • No breakfast service.
  • No morning or afternoon half day preschool or eceap classes.
  • Full-day preschool/ECEAP starts two hours late.
  • No morning classes at Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC); Afternoon courses continue as planned.
  • All pre-school programs, including clubs, activities and daycare in school, are canceled.
  • No transport will be delivered to schools outside the district.

Schools will reject at their regular times, and after school programs continue as planned.
