RAIDERS NEWS: Mark Thewes Employed from Denver to Front Office

Las Vegas Raiders has marked for their Front Office Senior Vice President of Football Operations and Strategy, According to a report from NFL Media.

Let’s get to know better:

Last job:

He was with Denver Broncos for the past 16 years, most recently as Vice President of Football Operations and Compliance.

What will be his role?

The role of thewes is expected to be in the administration and operating site on the front office. Pete Carroll brought in Matt Capurro, who had previously worked for Raiders and Carroll, to help operate the operation of the coaching staff. Thewes’ hiring is somewhat comparable to Front Office. He is not expected to be a staff decision. Still he wears a lot of hats in Denver, including helping with game management on the waste day, and he stuck around several regimes and a change of ownership

Raiders Binder:

Thewes were in Denver with the new Las Vegas General Manager John Spyytek.

Irony:

Thewes got his big break in the NFL when Josh McDaniels hired him when he became a broncos head coach in 2009. They were high school buddies in Canton Ohio. Thewes remained at Broncos long past McDaniels did. Now thewes joins another of McDaniels’ former team.

Why Raiders hired him:

Obviously, SPYTEK believes that his former colleague can fill a valuable role in the day -to -day operations of the franchise.
