More snow evolves Wednesday and again Saturday

Snow showers develop this afternoon and evening in large parts of northern and central Minnesota. More snow is on the way on Saturday.

Snow evolves this afternoon with more snow Saturday

Our active Weather Week continues as the next system moves into Minnesota today. A winter weather counseling will take effect Wednesday afternoon for the northeastern Minnesota until early Thursday morning.

We see that snow showers mainly develop this afternoon and evening at night in large parts of northern and central Minnesota. Plan on a slow evening commuting.

The heavier snowfall plots will again mostly be in northeastern Minnesota, where several centimeters or even more could fall on stains. Totals fall further south.

It will also be short warmer today with heights in the upper 20s over southern Minnesota and mostly teens north.

Colder air slides back along with windy conditions on Thursday. We should also see some sunshine. The next storm system aims at Minnesota for Saturday. This system could lead to more significant snowfall plots for central Minnesota, including possibly Twin Cities.
