Crash in the middle

A number of crashes in both directions of the Interstate 405 snarled morning commuting in the middle of icy conditions.

All courses on Northbound Interstate 405 were closed at the State Route 169/Maple Valley Highway after a crash in Renton at. 04:15 about five hours later, all Mainline Lanes were open.

Around 1 p.m. At 07.30, Southbound I-405 in Bellevue was closed over I-90 due to icy conditions, according to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson. The accident, which closed northbound I-405 at SR 169 for hours, involved a rolled semi-truck and a car. Part of the truck then burned on fire. There were only minor injuries.
