Lily Allen ‘Destroyed’ after David Harbor Split (Exclusive Source)

Lily Allen has a hard time following his split from husband David Harbor.

Monday, February 3rd, several sources confirmed to people that “smiles” singer, 39 and Stranger Things Actor, 49, was separated after more than four years of marriage.

“She’s destroyed and not in a good place,” says an insider to the People of Allen.

The English pop star shares daughters Marnie Rose, 12, and Ethel Mary, 13, with ex-husband Sam Cooper, and the insider says the split from the harbor has “been very tough for her and her girls.”

“It’s been a bad start to the new year, but Lily is tough,” the insider adds. “She is very good at prioritizing herself when she has to.”

Reps for Allen and Harbor did not immediately respond to people’s request for comment.

The couple bound the knot in September 2020, but “her marriage has crumbled and they have shared,” the insider told people in the middle of the separation news.

The couple was first romantically attached in January 2019 and debuted their red carpet in October of that year. They triggered engagement rumors a month later, then bound the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in September 2020.

In the episode 9. January of Allen’s BBC podcast Miss me? With co-host Miquita Oliver, she opened to go through a difficult time.

“I’m just so … I’m really not in a good place,” she told Oliver. “I know I’ve been talking about it for months, but I’ve been spiral and spiral and spiral, and it’s gotten out of control.”

The musician “Hard Here” added, “I just can’t concentrate on something except the pain I go through.”

“It’s really, really hard,” added Allen, who at the time revealed that she would take a bit of a break from the podcast: “I’m going away next week. You won’t hear me for a few weeks, listeners.”

During the episode, Allen also became emotional and refused “vicious rumors” that she will rehabilitize after five years of soberness, which she has long been public about.
