Wizards vs nets prediction, picks & odds for tonight’s NBA game

Two Eastern Conference rivals trending in the right direction meet tonight at the Barclays Center when Washington Wizards face Brooklyn Nets.

Tonight’s matchup should be quick and loose, but my wizards vs. Nets forecasts do not expect the Washington Guard to Earth Poole to take advantage of having a big scoring night.

My analysis
Tonight’s matchup between Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets could be exciting. Washington traded Kyle Kuzma for Bucks for Khris Middleton, leaving the guides thin tonight.

Wizard’s guard Jordan Poole has to be the man tonight, but for many personal mistakes and revenue has the veteran guard running on the scoring match bus.

Poole has been hot from the center (more on that later), and his shooting percentage is career heights, but none of it has helped him score great consistently.

What I mean by “BIG” is that he has not cleared 22+ points in eight of his previous nine, and I bet the former Michigan Wolverine will continue this trend against Brooklyn tonight.

This Nets defense has been cunning, allowing fewer than 110 points in each of its last seven. They have won three equal and know if they are braking pools, they can transform the wizards into warlocks and win this game. I am betting that they do just that.

Although I don’t think Poole will score big tonight offensively, I like him draining three triple and I will grab the alternative under as Brooklyn struggles to score and depend on its defense to win game.

Poole has a career year from the center. He drains 39% of his nearly 10 attempts at triangles per year. Match. Wizard’s Guard has made 3+ triple in 10 of his last 12 games and faces a Brooklyn defense that allows 13 triple per year. Night.

While I like Poole to do what he typically does, I don’t think the faster pace or a nice evening from the center of Wizard’s Guard transforms this competition into a high-scoring affair.

Brooklyn scores the fewest points per Home match (102) while surrendering 111 and is 14-8 to below. Washington’s road games are 13-11 to below, and these teams have stayed under six of their last 10 meetings.
