SCSD#2 Board Honors Wade Kinsey, Shane Rader – Sheridan Media

On SCSD #2 Board of Trustee Meeting Monday, February 3, Ali Vold, Woodland Park Elementary School Principal, spoke with the board of Woodland Park School was one of the most priesting schools in the state. Several of the staff attended the meeting and were introduced to the board.

She also acknowledged Wade Kinsey, who was the recipient of the presidential award for expertise in mathematics and science education. “This is one of the highest honors awarded to voice teachers throughout our nation. Winning this award puts Wade in an elite group of teachers, ”said violence. “He brought learning to life in ways that inspired both students and staff every day.”

Superintendent Scott Stult’s recognized board members, including some who had shown growth in professional development and standards for expertise. He also recognized President Shane Radar.

Rader added that he appreciated the board and the level of commitment they have and that all board members were willing to participate in professional development. “Thank you,” he said.

In his report, Stults talked about the board goals.

In other business, the board also approved a bid for the modernization of SHS C-Wing elevator, 2025-26 K-5 and 6-8 students handbooks.

Assisting Superintendent Kristie Garrifuffa reported that the SHS degree degree of 2024 was 85.7%, which is above the state average of 81.6%. The graduation rate of the CTE program is just over 97%.

Three members of the community talked to the board of directors about some of the bills currently addressing the legislators that will affect the education.

Rader talked briefly about SCSD#2 Legislative Round Table held in January.

The Board of Directors exposed to an executive session to discuss personnel cases. The next board meeting will be Monday, March 3 at the Central Office at. 18.00
