William Easler Obituary 30 January 2025

William Easler was born on November 30, 1932 to the Union William Leroy Easler and Viola Richardson, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the third of five children. He was raised with a sister Berdina and brothers Robert, Leroy and Ted. In 1950, William graduated from Bok Vocational School. After high school education, William was verved for the Air Force on February 16, 1952. His travels during the service included being stationed in Japan. As the loving family man he is, William would send his military earnings home to help take care of his younger brother. He completed his service on March 6, 1956 and continued to study tooth laboratory work.

After being introduced to the truth of brother Amos Hardy, William was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 1, 1957. During his faithful service to Jehovah, he shared in an hour of discourse in Kingdom Hall, spent time taking Holidays groundbreaking in Philadelphia and participating in the Assembly in Canada, New York and Washington DC

William was united in marriage to Naomi Jones on June 11, 1960 in Kingdom Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This Union greeted their firstborn, Vaughn and the second born son Todd. William decided it was time to leave Philadelphia due to high crime and lack of stable employment opportunities.

In 1976, William, Naomi and their two sons Vaughn and Todd moved to Aurora, Colorado, where his brother Leroy already lived. William worked for RTD as a bus driver for over 15 years. During his term of office, he worked strange and long hours to provide for his family. One year after arriving in Colorado, their trade union welcomed their third born, a daughter Jill. He loved fishing, camping and taking trips with his family to explore Colorado’s beautiful mountains.

After William’s retirement in 1995, he loved to vacation in Hawaii, take trips to visit his brothers Leroy and Ted and spend time with his children and grandchildren. He loved to film and photograph all his adventures to capture the beloved times.

William or Bill, whom his family lovingly called him, will always be remembered as a supportive brother, loving man of 64 years to his wife Naomi and prickly father and grandfather.

William has begun to death by his son Todd Easler, he is survived by his wife Naomi Easler, son Vaughn Easler, daughter Jill Easler, brother Ted Easler, grandson Khalil, Gabriel and a number of nies and nephews.
