Betting market not impressed with Bucks’ acquisition of Kyle Kuzma

Milwaukee Bucks is in the thick thing at the eastern conference, which is currently sitting fifth in the eastern playback picture of 26-22.

But having one of the world’s best players in Giannis Antetokounmpo brings a special kind of pressure when it comes to pursuing the ultimate goal: an NBA championship.

The NBA champions in 2021 reportedly drew a trade on Wednesday for the purpose of giving Giannis and Bucks more support, but The oddsmakers at Betmgm is not too impressed.

Bucks were +2800 to win the NBA final before handling Khris Middleton in a package for Kyle Kuzma, but after the news about the trade broke, Bucks’ title was odds … +2800.

Middleton, 33, has struggled with a selection of injuries, rehabilitation and limited minutes, and although his effectiveness has been solid (51.2/40.7/84.8 shooting divisions), the three-time all-star just has not been able to make consistent contributions to Bucks. He plays the fewest minutes of his career (23.2) since his rookie season in 2012-13.

Kuzma, on the other hand, has had a flat terrible season for the evil, directionless wizards, shooting 42% percent from the floor and 28.1% from 3. Still, if there is a reason for optimism, it is that Kuzma’s offensive look Improved while sharing the court with Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, as opposed to, for example, Jordan Poole and Bilal Coulibaly.

And there may be something for Kuzma, 29 playing the 4 together with Antetokounmpo at 5 in small ball arrangements.

But no matter what happens in Milwaukee in the second half of the season, Bettors doesn’t buy it yet.
