How much snow do we get tomorrow? Winter Weather Advisory Up – NBC New York

Advice has been issued in winter weather to New York City, Long Island, Hudson Valley and much of New Jersey, along with Connecticuts Fairfield County in front of a system that is expected to dump some snow, gossip and ice in the Tri-State area that Starting early Thursday.

The system is not expected to be a large snow machine, but it can bring travel problems to interior parts of the region for the morning commuting. The weather counseling will take effect early Thursday and remain in place late in the morning. Check the latest weather warnings for your neighborhood here.

Up to 2 inches of snow could accumulate on stains during the morning commuting along with up to a tenth of ice in rural areas. The system must switch to rain from the middle of late morning when temperatures rise above freezing. It moves in before dawn and should be out in the early afternoon.

The evening commuting will be a rainy than for most people, with some glaze continuing further north and west. As with the morning commuting, the journey will be difficult, especially with rain and warmer temperatures that melt the morning and turn it into slush. Become aware of your surroundings and road conditions if you need to be out.

In addition to Thursday’s system, we are in another round of winter weather at noon Saturday to Sunday. The good news: Timing does not affect any rush hour commuter. The bad news: It can make your weekend a little messy.

Like Thursday, this is another system that starts as snow and surpasses a good amount of ice mixture during the transition. The worst thing of the mess comes through dinner blur on Saturday into the early Sunday. If you need to make plans or run errands this weekend, it is best to schedule them early on Saturday or late on Sunday.

Our last storm in this parade of systems is coming in the middle of next week. When you are so far out, there is a lot of time for the prognosis to develop, but the current timing and temperatures favor some decent snowfall before a switch to ice and rain.

While our previous two systems bring shovels to parts of our region, the one approaching next week sees our best chance over the next 10 days to see measurable snowfall across the tri-state.
