Jimmy Butler’s trade to Golden State brings Dennis Schroder, draft of Utah Jazz

Another NBA star is on the move, and once again Utah Jazz got draft capital out of the chaos.

Golden State Warriors landed unhappy Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler in a deal on Wednesday and sent Andrew Wiggins as part of the package, according to reports.

Jazz helped facilitate the deal of trading the contract with recently acquired PJ Tucker for the heat while taking on Dennis Schröder’s expiring contract. Utah will receive a 2031 selection from the heat from the heat of the Multi-Team Agreement.

Tucker, who didn’t have to play for jazz, had $ 11.5 million on his contract this season, while Schroder earns $ 13 million. For the difference in wages, jazz acquired the second round pick.

The second-round 2031 will be the more favorable of Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat’s elections in that year’s draft. The heat received the rights to exchange these choices when he sent backup center Thomas Bryant to Pacers in December.

It is not clear whether Schröder will fit Utah.

The deal happened about 45 minutes before the Jazz Matchup against Warriors in the Delta Center on Wednesday night.

NBA’s trade deadline is Thursday, at. 13.00 Mt.
