Moses Moody Out, Lauri Markkanen questionable for Warriors vs. Jazz

In the midst of a whole lot of NBA trade deadline Madness and Drama, the Golden State Warriors have a game to play. There’s still basketball to be won and Dubs starts a six-game road trip that leads them to the All-Star break with a visit to Salt Lake City to go Utah Jazz.

However, no team works with maximum strength. Here is the full injury -report.

Warriors

Out – Jonathan Kuminga (Right ankle Splace)

Kuminga remains sideways – this will be his 16th consecutive match missed. But he gets closer to a return and did exercises on the field in sight of the media on Wednesday.

Out – Moses Moody (Bilateral Low Back Tribe)

Moody plays the best basketball in his career, but unfortunately will have to miss at least one game with more back pain.

Likely – Draymond Green (left calf stem)

Green returned from a long-standing absence on Monday and was a difference-maker in the team’s victory over Orlando Magic. It looks like he’s back for good, and hopefully he can stay healthy.

Likely – Andrew Wiggins (left hip tenderness)

Wiggins has been on a tear recently, so hopefully he is not too affected by this minor injury.

Accessible – Kevon Looney (right nasal bone fracture – Facemask)

Masked Looney: Still a beast on the glass.

Jazz

Out – Collin Sexton (Left Ankle Dispute)

When Warriors and Jazz played just over a week ago, it felt like Sexton was only one of Utahs healthy Players … and now he’s out.

Out -Jalen Hood-Schifino (not with team)
Out – PJ Tucker (not with team)

Hood-Schifino and Tucker came from Los Angeles in a pair of deadline dealers. The former came from Lakers And was a smaller heralt part of Anthony Davis/Luka Dončić agreement, while the latter came from Clippers in a smaller deal.

Out – Taylor Hendricks (right fibula -break)

A tough season so far for the 2023 Lottery Pick, which has only played in three games and doesn’t seem to be too close to returning.

Out – Cody Williams (Left Ankle Disclosure)

And an injury to this year’s lottery pick. Neither Hendricks nor Williams played last week when Warriors hosted the jazz.

Questionable – Lauri Markkanen (Handling Low Back Damage)

Warriors have failed to land a lot of stars since they failed to land the field. Do with that what you want.

Enjoy the action, DUB Nation!
