Isaiah Hartenstein continues glass dominance for OKC Thunder

Oklahoma City has coasted to a 38-9 record before the All-Star break, which is bound for the least amount of losses in the NBA. Thunder is on his way to having his best season in the franchise story, and this team is widely considered a bonafide competitor. The most impressive part of it all, though, is that Oklahoma City has had all this success while fought for the injury error.

Thunder’s Star Center, Chet HolmgrenHave played on only 10 games this season after suffering a hip injury on a hard full early in the season. Alex Caruso have also missed a long time fighting for a handful of injuries while Thunder’s rookie point guard, Ajay Mitchellseems to be sideline until the playoffs. It certainly has not been smooth sailing to the thunder, but they make it look easy.

One of the reasons it looks so easy to the naked eye is how effective Jesaja Hartenstein has been. He has treated his reasonable proportion of injuries, but when he has been on the floor, he has been one of the most effective players for Thunder. When Oklahoma City came short against Dallas in the playoffs, the lack of size and physical character was visible. Oklahoma City identified the need and sent it up during the high season. Even without Holmgren, Hartenstein has delivered the physical that Oklahoma City was looking for, and it appears in a big way recently.

Over the last nine games, Hartenstein has exceeded double digits in the rebounding category eight times. During this time he has a record 14+ rebound’s four different times. During his last 10 excursions, he is an average of 12.6 rebounds per year. Match.

In the season, Hartenstein is an average of 11.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists per year. Fight of 55.8% shooting. He has given Thunder Firepower in the front court and confidence in its physical character. Hartenstein has helped form the mindset of this thunder team.

Oklahoma City has not even implemented a lineup with both Holmgren and Hartenstein together, but the move to add the big man looks like a brilliant decision. So far, Hartenstein’s addition has been that all thunder could ask for and more.
