5 TV and streaming show you should binge-watch in February

Violent superheroes, cannibalist teens and crime-fighting drivers are among the recurring characters on TV screens in February, while other shows take viewers back to the 1920s Montana and a luxury international resort in the White Lotus portfolio. From action-packed animations to Western dramas, these are the five streaming series you need to catch up before they continue.

What it is: Created by Rob Kirkman (The walk Death) and based on its own image comics series, Invincible Follows the titular teenage superhero as he develops newly manifested abilities and follows in the footsteps of his powerful father, Omni-Man. The animated show involves several other superhero characters from the image universe and contains spectacular bloody action sequences. The third season premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, February 6th.

Why do you have to see it: There is no shortage of superhero stories for adult audiences recently, but Amazon produces the most exciting titles with The boys and Invincible Both streaming on prime video. The latter can go some places that live-action can’t, which separates it from the equally graphics The boys. Invincible is constantly recognized as one of the best series of its kind, partly for its very influential animation style. Throw a well -written upcoming element of age and it is an unmatched source of entertainment.

What it is: This drama series with horror elements centers on members of a high school football team trying to survive in the Canadian wilderness after their flights go down the road to a tournament. The show also follows some of these girls as adults dealing with the trauma of the original experience and the brutal secrets of their survival history that they have held for 25 years. The first episode of Yellowjackets: Season 3 premieres Friday, February 14th.

Why do you have to see it: Driven by award -winning performances from Melanie Lynskey and Christina Ricci and the total strength of its two perfect role crew, Yellowjackets is an unpredictable show with some shocking dark twists. Few shows have done as a good job that balances two separate timelines, maintaining mysteries within the past without destroying the current sequences.

What it is: Each season of this anthology series takes place in another place in the titular fictional resort, after the staff and several intertwined guests mixed in cultural and sexual drama. The first installment was put on Hawaii and the second in Sicily, while the third will move the show to Thailand. A few characters appear in more than one season, but there is no running plot. The first episode of The white lotus: Season 3 premieres Sunday 16 February.

Why do you have to see it: The white lotus is brilliant in its explorations of cultural disgust and sexual politics, the show’s location shoots are all beautiful, and every season’s role crew is fantastic. Of course, Jennifer Coolidge has been a breakout favorite so far. Season 3 offers some exciting additions in her absence, including Carrie Coon and Walton Goggins, both of which do every show they are on essential view.

What it is: Based on Jack Reacher Books, this action series follows the titular shift and former military police major as he fights various criminals during his travels around the United States every season of the show is adapted from another novel, with the first tied to Kills flooring And the other to Mishaps and problems. The first three episodes of Reacher: Season 3, based on the book PersuadingPremiere Thursday, February 20th.

Why do you have to see it: Popular among both critics and mainstream TV audience, Reacher is a faithful adaptation that is thoroughly entertaining – full of action and pulpy, compelling storytelling. If you are only acquainted with Jack Reacher Movies with a miscast Tom Cruise, the show deserves a look at appreciating the true benefits of the franchise.

What it is: Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren star in this Yellowstone Prequel that also acts as a sequel to the series 1883. Set in the titular year, 1923 is a Western drama that follows a generation of the Dutton family in Montana as it lasts drought, ban and financial difficulties in front of the great depression. The second and last season of 1923 Premier on Sunday, February 24th.

Why do you have to see it: You can’t be part of Zeitgeist without watching Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone shows, and this prequel spinoff series is among the more appealing to newcomers considering its star-studded casting. This piece of the franchise also works in an interesting historical context that makes it stand out in the genre.
