Scattered storms will develop at night. Heavy rain is likely, but strong wind, hail and even an isolated tornado cannot be excluded.

Bowling Green, Ky. (WBKO) – Scattered showers and storms continue to develop tonight. A couple at night could be severe with strong wind and hail possible. An isolated spin up tornado cannot be excluded. The severe weather threat will be reduced after 1 p.m. 06 Thursday.

Looking ahead: Further scattered showers and a few storms are probably Thursday afternoon as another cold front slowly changes through the area. The weather takes a break on Friday before the next rainfall rolls in this weekend. Even with more clouds and some showers, heights on Saturday are likely to reach the lower 70s. A cold front is expected to bring more rain and a few storms on Saturday night. Much colder weather follows for Sunday and the beginning of next week. Highs are only in the mid -40s at the time.
