It has flown under the radar because of all his injuries and the fact that he is on the Sub-500 Charlotte Hornets, but Williams has been a Juggernaut Per occupation this season.

His basic number of 16.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks may not blow you away, but you have to remember that he hopes all that up in 25.0 minutes.

Per 75 possessions are Williams (which is currently eighth in the league in Box Plus/minus) an average of 23.6 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.8 blocks.

Now the 23-year-old is given the opportunity to show his game and all that production for one of the league’s marquee franchises. And his life on the field is getting even easier.

Williams played with a fantastic playmaker in Charlotte’s Lamelo Ball, but he will now share the floor with two of the best and most productive creators and distributors of Luka Dončić and LeBron James.

He will be fed with several, wide -open attempts at the edge of each game.

And perhaps most importantly, he goes from a team that is rocking another top choice in the draft of a legitimate title competition.
