Ticketmaster warns customers to remain cautious with scammers when buying tickets to Beyoncés recently advertised “Cowboy Carter“Tour.

“Don’t trust anyone trying to sell you tickets before going on sale from Tuesday, 2/11,” Ticketmaster wrote in a post of X. “These are scammers trying to sell you fake tickets.”

According to Ticketmaster blogThe ticket site “Dedicates to fight bots and scalpers that use a practice called ‘speculative list’ or ‘speculative tickets’ to sell fans’ fake tickets.”

Speculative list is, according to Ticketmaster, when unofficial sellers show tickets for sale, even if they do not actually have the tickets bet they will be able to get the tickets when they are on sale. This practice forces real fans to compete against dealers who buy tickets to resell and fulfill the speculation they made.

“People who claim to sell these tickets commit fraud, and this practice is illegal in many states,” Ticketmaster wrote, recommended that fans never trust dealers who claim to have tickets before they have officially been on sale to the public. Ticketmaster also recommends that fans do not trust anyone who sells codes for ticket sales, as only Ticketmaster can issue codes and they cannot be purchased or transferred.

Fans respond to Ticketmaster -Warning in the middle of litigation, skyrocketing fare

Many fans and ticketmaster customers do not kindly take Ticketmaster’s warning in the midst of the recent complaints about soaring ticket prices and a trial from the Ministry of Justice.

“This is rich from you and your 18 fees,” wrote a user on X in response to Ticketmaster’s post.

“In talking about other scammers as ticket prices do not double after TM fees are used. Please,” wrote another, accompanied by an abundance of positions accusing the entertainment company of scaming its customers with fees and dealers.

In recent months, Ticketmaster has been under fire by customers over high ticket prices, fees and dealers causing fans’ headaches during the sale of major shows and trips from Kendrick Lamar and Sza’s upcoming Grand National Tour to Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks at Metlife Stadium.

The The Ministry of Justice defendant Live Nation Entertainement and its subsidiary Ticketmaster in May and says the company has a monopoly alive concert industry and that it hurts fans, innovation, artists and venues.
