Olivia Bowen is pregnant! Love Island Star announces she expects her second child with husband Alex

Olivia Bowen has announced that she is pregnant with her second child.

Love Island Star, 30, went to Instagram Thursday to share the news that she expects baby number two with her co-star and husband Alex Bowen, 33.

She shared a heartwarming video of the pregnancy so far and wrote in the caption: ‘For a moment, a love – baby no2 – we are waiting for you.’

The sweet clip that looks like it had been recorded on a video camera showed the moment the couple finds out they were pregnant.

It also contained adorable family moments between Olivia and Alex, and their son Abel, including the little one who kissed his mother’s stomach and wearing a shirt that sounds ‘Big Brother’.

Olivia showed off her flowering baby pump in several clips of the video as the family is preparing to become a four.

The couple, who have been together for almost a decade, greeted their first child, son Abel, two, back in June 2022.

Olivia and Alex, formerly a sales director and staff, rose to fame in 2016 when they appeared at ITV2 Reality show, where she was an original star and male, a late and extremely popular participant.

After leaving the villa, their romance soon went from strength to strength, and Alex stopped the issue in New York in December 2016.

They bound the knot at an idyllic Essex ceremony in September 2018.

After the birth of her first child, Olivia admitted that she ‘really really fought’ with her postpartum figure so much that she ‘hated’ herself ‘beyond faith’.

In an honest and emotional chat with Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy mom, happy baby podcast In November, Olivia told how she ‘knew’ that she would fight with the appearance of her body after birth, with the star constantly compared to other new mothers.

She discussed her figure after pregnancy and said, ‘So I knew when I got pregnant, it was something that I just wanted to lose my s ** t after. I really… I am still struggling with it

“But after I hated myself as without faith. Which really really struggled with my body image. Pregnant – loved, loved, loved it. And then it was minute, the minute Abel was born and I looked at myself in a completely different light, which makes no sense.

“The fact that you can look at yourself when you are pregnant and absolutely love the way you look and think,” wow, I’m incredible. I carry this baby ”. But then after it was as if I was comparing myself to other girls who were in the public eye, it had had children at the same time as me.

‘And I looked at them and thought,’ Oh my God, you look amazing ‘and don’t think about myself and think,’ I have to jump back. ‘”

After convincing herself that she did not look good in comparison with others, Olivia began on an overwhelming training routine – which would prove to have a negative effect on her body.

She explained, ‘I ended up really harming myself because I had a complicated birth.

“I started running too soon because I was so aware of what I looked like.

“I ended up breaking my stitches. I ended up with … I drove too soon because I would get fit again and I caused me a lot of damage.

“To not go into detail in detail, but I ended up, actually really hurt myself from wanting to jump back.”

But despite having caused herself physical pain through her actions, influencer admitted that she would probably still do the same again if they had another child.

She said, ‘It was like … and even now I think I still wouldn’t have done it differently. Really the first time … the other … If I got pregnant again, I know to take care of myself, but I actually know I would have done it again and and again.

As it would not have changed. But I assume it is, you know, my job is on social media. And to see all these girls look so incredible and think you don’t look like that.

“It was such a tough thing. And because I had always had such a great body and I loved my body, it was just someone I didn’t really know and I had no respect for. And that’s, it’s so sad. ‘

While Olivia was struggling with her body image, she also faced a fight with postnatal depression.

Opening up to Giovanna so as not to feel like a mother when Abel was born, she said, ‘I remember having written in my notes, in fact, I think he was about three months old and I remember having written In my notes that I would not have to be looked at as a mother.

“I was like, I’m not a mother, I don’t feel like a mother. I have a baby and I love my baby but I don’t want anyone to look at me or call me mom.

“I didn’t like it when people referred to me as a mother. I hated it. ‘

When Giovanna suggested that it was due to Olivia, who may have felt ‘lost’ in the middle of the traumatic birth, Olivia explained, ‘I think I think it is like the lost feeling afterwards. As I think Postnatal is just so, so ordinary and we don’t even realize it. And I really struggled for, like anxiety, I was really depressed.

“And I think I just shot the picture of being a mother because I just weren’t ready to give up who I was before and I felt I had lost all my identity. I had no idea who I was. Yes, as I remember I was talking to my friends and was like, I literally don’t know who I am.

“As I couldn’t tell you a thing about myself and to lose yourself as it deeply. And then I think I’ve always done it. Because I didn’t want to have kids, I always looked at being a mother as not a bad thing, but just something that was never me. ‘
