Simons lights up brings another win to Portland

Portland Trail Blazers and Sacramento Kings faced various challenges as they matched Thursday night at Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. Portland had to keep a winning row starting off with an evening when their defense was not up to its recent standards. The kings tried to find their violation or something real while adapting to several new team members and odd rotations after 2025 NBA trading deadline.

The game was exciting, but broken, with both teams that were going on mini-runs, but neither capable of establishing dominance. In the end, Blazers won their sixth straight, 10 of their last 11, 108-102.

Anfee Simons led Blazers with 30. Shaedon Sharpe added 24 with 9-18 shoots from the bench. Demar Derozan and Zach Lavine each delivered 22 to the kings.

Blazer of the game

Simons shot 8-12 from the three-point bow. It could fill all three sections of this contemplation all alone. Sharpe had to take this honor until the fourth quarter started, then … boom.

State at night

In the categories Non-Simons, it is a match between 13 revenue for Blazers that leads to 15 Sacramento points (twice as much as Portland scored according to revenue) and 20 quick points scored by Kings (again doubled Blazers). Both indicate that it was a slurry, broken game for Portland that looked like their efforts in the early season more than wins in their recent line.

Runner Up: Domanta’s Sabonis collected violations like sweets, a few on screens, before finally hovering out with 3:07 back in the game.

What we remember

Malik Monk and Zach Lavine had their moments, but Demar Derozan chop Blazers into 15 points in the fourth period. He had Toumani Camara on him also much of that strip. There is a reason why this guy is considered one of the best clutch players in the NBA. He showed it tonight.

But do you know what? Anfee Simons added 16 of his own, overmathing Derozan, who hit a quartet of triangles in the process. It was the game savings for Portland.
