Separately, MET Office’s long -range prognosis shows declining temperatures next week. It says, “windy winds and increased cloud amounts are expected to aggravate the cold sensation with temperatures often below average.”

Snow can also crawl into next week, as it explains: “In particular, southwestern areas can especially see some wintry rainfall at times.

“Frost overnight will probably be during this period, especially where the sky is clear, but where the wind remains windy, this will reduce the overall risk of a severe frost formation.”
