Clues and answers to Thursday 6th February

In case you missed Wednesday’s new mini, you can find the answers here:

ForbesToday’s new mini crossword track and response to Wednesday 5 February

New Mini is a quick and dirty version of the newspaper’s larger and long -term crosswords. Most days there are between three and five clues in each direction of one five after five grids, but the riddles are sometimes larger, especially on Saturdays.

Unlike its larger siblings, new Mini Crossword is free to play on New York Times Website or new Games app. However, you need a new Games subscription to access previous puzzles in the archives.

New Mini is a fun daily distraction that usually doesn’t take any time at all. I try to beat the regular weekday network in less than a minute. But sometimes I can’t quite figure out one or two tracks and need to reveal the answer.

To help you avoid doing so, here is new Mini Crossword Replies (Spoilers are of course in front of):

New Mini Crossword -The Wires and Answers

OVER

1) Chief Norse good – Odin
5) Required number – quota
6) Open, like a sleeping bag – Punnzip
7) puts a cold package on – ICES
8) Scrabble — Value of the Circled Letters – Ten

DOWN

1) Weight unit whose symbol includes a “z” – ounces
2) Baker’s ___ – dozen
3) “It’s correct” – that’s it
4) beat the hay during the day – nap
5) Give up – Exit

It’s definitely another puzzle today. In all my time doing this, I don’t remember a circular letter concept, though I might miss some where along the way. I didn’t actually know the Scrabble value, but I can spell “Ti.” The best clue that I thought was the unit of measurement with a zi it as it was really wise with ounce/oz.
