Snow to mix today, more snow over the weekend – Boston News, Weather, Sport

Recorded, busy, busy … How to roll the pattern over the next few weeks as we are along the combat zone from the Arctic air to the north and milder air to the south. Along the combat zone, our first storm is up today.

Snow breaks out between 7 p.m. 8-10 from southwest to northeast. The snow becomes stable and a few pockets with moderate to heavier snow are likely. Most of it falls between 7 p.m. 10 to 15. The mixture with ice for rain happens fastest along the south coast and will take until 1 p.m. Although not a big storm, the timing is tough as most of the precipitate and worst travel states are during school/working day.

All in all, most spots pick up 2-3 ″ snow, followed by a bit of gossip/freezing drip (even a regular Ole drip near the coast/se-fair). North Fair/NH more like 3-4 ″ with lowest totals over the sheath.

As the storm turns off, conditions on treated roads are improved in the evening.

Friday is cool and windy and Saturday is dry most of the day.

Saturday night the next round of snow moves in. The trail of this storm can be a little further south and have a little more moisture with it. If so, at least several centimeters of snow will be widespread. This storm lingers in on Sunday morning, but should be tapered at noon. Some mixtures for ice/rain are possible near the south coast, but this looks like a mainly snow even for many. If the track holds, the probabilities of 6 ″+ are quite high for a good part of southern New England.

Next Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday too? Yes, it is possible that we get another round with snow in here.
