The 30-year-old Smart has played 11 NBA-Sæsoner-NI with Boston Celtics and two for Grizzlies.

Ex-Ochlahoma Star Star was a defensive threat to the C’s and played an integrated role their success in its time there.

Boston played playoffs in each of his nine seasons, including five Eastern Conference Finals performance and an East Title. In general, SMART was an average of 10.7 points, 4.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 stealing in his time in Boston.

After the 2022-23 season, Celtics traded for Grizzlies in a three-team agreement that also involved Washington Wizards. Boston in particular got Kristaps Porziņģis from the wizards.

Unfortunately, Smart’s career in Memphis never came off the ground due to injuries.

He hasn’t caught a break this season either.

On December 28, 2024, Memphis announced that smart was Diagnosed With a partial tear in the proximal extensor cap of his right index finger. Before he was back on Wednesday, he had not played since December 21.

Through 19 games this season, including six starts, smart is an average from the course and 32.2 percent beyond the arch.

Of course, it’s been a tough time for smart in Memphis simply because of terrible injuries. Now he gets a change of scenes, and with that smart hopefully can start to enjoy a sustained pure health bill.
