The top Democrat of the House Judiciary Committee, rep. Jamie Raskin, calls on Top Trump administration officials to stop the cleansing of career prosecutors by the Ministry of Justice about their commitment to investigation and work in January 6-related cases and to reintroduce them to their positions.

In letters obtained exclusively by NBC News and was sent this morning, Raskin called for Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Nominated Kash Patel and Acting American Lawyer for District of Columbia Ed Martin for a commitment to undo the actions and provide relevant information to selection.

Raskin demanded that Bondi immediately stop the cleaning of career officials at DOJ and FBI, who were “wrongfully terminated to do their job” in the study of 6. January. He said firing of them is a “obvious political violation of the US civil services in the United States” and “undermines poor public security and national security.” Maryland Congress Member said he wants Bondi’s commitment next week that the cleaning is stopped and that all fired staff is reintroduced to their roles.

Similarly, in a letter to Patel, which has not yet been confirmed by the Senate to be the FBI Director, Raskin said he wants his insurance next week that he will also stop the termination of FBI employees and to reintroduce them .

“By removing and threatening career staff, Trump administration officials inhibit the agency’s ability to conduct critical investigations involving terrorism, public corruption, transnational organized crime, cyber security and criminal offenses of white collar,” he wrote to Patel.

And in a letter to Martin, Raskin threw his firing of more than a dozen career federal prosecutors from the US Law Office in DC on what the legislature said was “an explicit political basis” that violates federal law and constitutional protection. These individuals, Raskin said, “prosecuted the violent rebels who tried to prevent the peaceful transition of power,” and instead of honoring them, he said that Martin betrayed their service to America to try to “rewrite the clear story” of 6. January.

Raskin requested Martin to send on February 20 all communication he has had with Trump The White House, as well as January 6, the defendant and prosecutors. The congressman also said he wants to know if Martin reviewed these prosecutor’s staff files or met with them before firing them.

The FBI refused to comment, while DOJ, the US Law Office in DC, Patel and the White House did not immediately respond to NBC News’ requests for comment.
