NCAA’s order to ban transnring women lacking reason, empathy

game

NCAA has lost its common sense with its spine.

A day after President Donald Trump issued an executive order that banned trans -bright women from playing sports, NCAA threw the handful of them to the wolves. In doing so, NCAA revealed Charlie Baker and Co. However, what a Father this is actually.

While he forbids transking women from competition, Ncaas edict Late Thursday said they could still practice with women’s teams. Male practice players are still allowed as well. Which is funny because the physical security of cisgender women is one of the “reasons” that the transfobes have used to justify their efforts to ban transient women.

So what is it? If transient women pose a physical threat during games, wouldn’t they also during practice? And would certainly not male exercise players? If transient women are really just artificial men who want to care and attack women, wouldn’t they still be able to? Could the male exercise players not do that too?

It is circular logic. But vicious circular logic that will only demonize the “less than 10” transient athletes there are in NCAA.

Great job, Charlie. Do not break your arm clapping yourself on the back of what you described as “clarity” when it really is cowardice, and already sacrifices vulnerable kids so that the president and his minions do not put you on their enema list.

There was a time when NCAA was fearless by getting up to Bigotry. It refused to put championship events in South Carolina for almost 15 years because the state continued to embrace racism and fly a Confederate flag over the State House. It pulled events out of North Carolina over a bill that forced transgender people to use bathrooms of the gender they were assigned at birth.

And when Indiana adopted a “religious freedom” calculation, it was just a cover to allow discrimination against homophiles and lesbians, NCAA then president Mark Emmert’s powerful termination led to a hike within a few days.

“NCAA National Office and our members are deeply committed to providing an inclusive environment for all our events,” Emmert said at the time. “We are particularly concerned about how this legislation can affect our student athletes and staff.”

Mine how times have changed. Now Ncaa’s only concern covers its ass.

The transfobes want you to believe that there is an army of transient women knocking on the doors of each gym and rules of the game at all levels of sports. They want you to believe that these athletes are superhuman, so much that they will eventually quantity cisguds women out of sports. They want you to believe that transnring women are a threat to your daughters’ bodies and virtue.

Instead of buying into the hysteria, take a step back. In parents of girls in youth sports, how many transient children do you know on your daughter’s team or in her league? In fact, don’t just assume, because someone has short hair or you’ve heard gossip. In college athletes, how many transking athletes have you encountered in your career?

The International Olympic Committee and NCAA had protocols that allow transsexual participation for more than a decade. And the last time I checked, cisgender women still competed. Still standing on podiums with medals around the neck. The hysteria is just that – hysteria.

And don’t let me start with science. Or lack of them. To argue that trans -fun women have an advantage because cisgudes -men do are both inaccurate and lazy. To know how transient women are compared to cisgender women, you actually have to compare them and there are very few studies that have. One that showed Those are the transient women Who can be Badly.

This fear, this meaning, this witch hunt has always been a solution in search of a problem. Transgender women are not a threat. They are not ogres. They do not exceed sports now or ever.

These are girls and young women who want to compete and play with their friends, the same as cisgender -girls and young women, and NCAA tells them to go away. That they are not welcome. That it believes in all the horrible things that the transfobes have said about them.

“Schools (s) aimed at creating inviting environments on all campuses,” said NCAA’s headline.

Oh, I’m sure it will make “less than 10” – again, Baker’s own words – transking athletes feel so much better now! NCAA offers transking athletes similar to thoughts and prayers after throwing them under the bus and called on the transfobes to double down their efforts to eradicate them completely from society.

Because that’s what this really is. The Trump administration is trying to make sure there is no safe space for transient people outside their homes. Not in the military, not at work, not at their medical offices and now, not on the games.

Part of the power of sports is that they teach us life lessons. Unfortunately, NCAA has done so intolerance and ignorance is now among them.
