East Tennessee, Kentucky sees severe weather warnings

Knoxville, Tenn. (Wvlt) – Spread showers and storms move through before midnight. A few storms could be severe with harmful winds or hail. Tornado risk is low but not zero. Get weather warning just in case. Temperatures fall in the 40s behind the rain at sunrise. Wind turns northwest at 5-15 km / h.

FRIDAY: Most cloudy early, then partially cloudy and cooler with heights in the 50s to almost 60. A stray shower is possible. Low will be in the middle to the top 40s.

WEEKEND: Partly to mostly cloudy and windy Saturday. Heights are heated back in the low 70s. The winds could go to 40 km / h in the evening. Rain and thunder move through Saturday night and end of sunrise Sunday. Temperatures fall through the 50s Sunday as the cold front moves through.
