LeBron James becomes both oldest and youngest player to score 40 points in the NBA story

LeBron James is in his 40s. At one point it means something.

But not now. Los Angeles Lakers star recorded 42 points, 17 rebounds and eight assists on Thursday in a 120-112 win over the Golden State Warriors, making him the oldest player in the NBA story to score 40 points, while they were also the youngest to do it.

The only other player who scored 40 at 40: Michael Jordan, the object of James’ endless comparison.

James’ performance included 6-of-9 shooting from 3-point range, including a stretch of three equal 3-PoINTS that ended up withdrew from the logo.

The game was between two teams in a transition mode. Lakers are still waiting for Luka Dončić to completely come to Curry’s supportive crew.

Curry joined James in the recording of a timeless performance when NBAS 3-point king ended with 37 points after trying to get Warriors back in it over the second half.
