Deion Sanders brings Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to train backs in Colorado

Denver (AP) – Deion Sanders Added another Pro Football Hall of Famer to his staff in Colorado by picking up Marshall Faulk to oversee the races.

Faulk becomes the third member of Buffaloes’ Coaching rows to boast of a gold jacket that joins Warren Sapp and of course Sanders. SAPP is senior quality control analyst for the defense.

Faulk will try to improve a running game that has been one of the worst in the nation for the past two seasons. Colorado’s offense has been very dependent on Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy -Winner Travis Hunter, both of whom are expected to be high choices in the upcoming NFL draft.

Deion Sanders and the buffaloes come from a 9-4 season where they earned a place in Alamo Bowl.

Faulk was a double threat out of the back field over a 12-year career with Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams. He rushed into 12,279 yards and 100 TDs, while also caught 767 passports in 6,875 yards and 36 scores.

Faulk, who turns 52 at the end of the month, was 2000 NFL MVP, a three-time offensive plays in the year and a Super Bowl winner with Rams. He and Sanders were both part of the 2011 class that was written down in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Faulk is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame after a star’s career in the San Diego State, where he was a three-time first-team Allamerican. He was the second overall choice of Colts in the NFL draft in 1994.

Handled to Rams In April 1999, he became part of a high -flying violation called “Greatest Show on Turf.”
