Pro Football Hall-of-Damer Randy Moss got the honor of presenting a very appropriate price as the former broad recipient continues a big health match.

Moss appeared via video calls at NFL Honors on Thursday night – the annual award show that reminds the best players in the league.

Months after he revealed he was fighting for bile duct cancer, Moss was tasked with handing out NFL’s comeback Player of the Year award.

The award is awarded to athletes who have shown resistance to adversity – be it injury, illness or other circumstances that led to the lack of playing time the season before.

Moss, who was named Pro Football Writers Association Comeback Player of the Year in 2007, presented the award in a pre -recorded message.

‘Good evening everyone. How are you doing? It’s great to talk to you tonight, ”Moss began.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t be there personally to join you all, but I want to send a special thanks to all my doctors, my beautiful wife, my children, my family, my teammates and all prayer warners out there.

“We are facing cancer and I can’t wait to get back on TV with all my guys. But tonight I am thrilled to present an award that I was honored to win myself back in 2007 with New England Patriots. 23 Touchdowns.

‘There is no better story in the National Football League than the one about a player doing great things, overcoming adversity and facing obstacles, but eventually finds his way back to the mountain peak.’

After Moss’s opening declaration, he presented the five nominees for the award: Minnesota Vikings Quarterback Sam Darnold, Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Joe Burrow, Los Angeles Chargers, Running Back JK Dobbins, Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin and New England Patriots Cornerback Christian Gonzalez.

Moss then revealed that the winner of the award was Joe Burrow – his second time to win this honor.

In his acceptance -Teal, Burrow joked, ‘I wouldn’t say that this is necessarily a price you will be nominated twice.

“But you know, I’m proud of the work that I’ve put back from these injuries that I seem to face every year. Fortunately, I’m healthy this year.

“You know I have a good team around me. My physiotherapist Nick, all our coaches at Bengals, my coach back in high season. We put together a great plan to help me go out and play my best on Sundays and get back from these injuries stronger. So thank you guys. It’s an honor, my husband. Thanks. ‘

Back in November, a number of fans had become concerned about Moss’s health as his eyes seemed yellow at ESPN.
