Toyota, Lexus remembers 147K vehicles over pairs of different problems

Plano, TX – Toyota announced a few recalls this week expected to affect an estimated 147,000 vehicles over concerns involving a few problems.

The largest recall affects 106,000 min 2024-25 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles equipped with 16-inch brakes and 17-inch Toyota wheels. The problem is about the rear brake hoses that can be damaged over time, especially if there is mud and dirt structure inside the rear wheels.

If the hoses are damaged, it can lead to a brake fluid leakage, which increases the risk of a crash. To correct the problem, dealers replace both rear brake hoses with improved at no cost.

The second recall involves 46,000 vehicles, where the seat belt with second row may have been damaged during manufacture. If damaged, the seat belts may not meet certain strength needs, according to Toyota.

Toyota and Lexus dealers will inspect the second-row center of seat belt belts to determine if a repair is needed. In that case, retailers of the seat belts’ assembly will replace the costs of customers.

  • 2025 min lexus nx
  • 2024 my lexus rx
  • 2025 min lexus rx
  • 2024 My Toyota Tacoma
  • 2025 My Toyota Tacoma

Owners of affected vehicles in both recalls will be notified via letter from April.
