AAPS Top leaders Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia Loser, Atishi is leading

New Delhi:

In a big shock to Aam Aadmi party, its top leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia have lost the election in the Delhi assembly as BJP seems to be ready for a big comeback in the national capital.

Mr. Kejriwal, who contested from the New Delhi Assembly Circle, lost against BJP’s Parvesh Verma by 1,200 votes, while his former Minister of Education Mr. Sisodia was defeated by BJP’s Tarvinder Singh Marwah in Patparganj by a margin of about 600 votes.

The latest trends suggest that Atishi leads Bjps Ramesh Bidhuri from Kalkaji.

Another senior leader, Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, is afterwards from Greater Kailash.

His cabinet colleague Gopal Rai leads from Babarpur. Senior party leader Durgesh Pathak, AAP candidate from Rajinder Nagar, is also a leader.

Aaps Amanatullah Khan, a two-time MLA from Okhla, is a leader with over 10,000 votes in his seat.

AAP leader Satyendar Jain, who is out on bail in a money laundering, is afterwards from Shakur Basti.

Avadh Ojha, the popular IAS examination survey, which was among AAP’s high-profile recruits prior to the election, is afterwards from Patparganj, the former seat of Mr Sisodia. Aaps Somnath Bharti, a candidate from Malviya Nagar, is also afterwards.

Delhi voted on February 5 to elect its members for the 70-seat assembly with AAP showing its ‘Delhi model’ of governance to counter BJP’s corruption indications in an aggressive campaign.

Main Minister Atishi exuded trust this morning that AAP is returning to power and called the election a battle between good and evil. Her cabinet colleague Saurabh Bharadwaj had said AAP would win at least 40-45 seats. However, the counting trend suggests otherwise.
