Beyonce Cowboy Carter Tour Fake Tickets Scam: Ticketmaster warns fans

Prior to Beyoncés recently, Cowboy Carter Tour announces Ticketmaster fans of potential ticket wind. No tickets for the highly expected tour have been sold, announced the ticket giant on Monday, adding that any ticket list offered elsewhere was unequal.

“These are scammers trying to sell your fake tickets,” Ticketmaster said on social media. The first tickets to the Cowboy Carter Tour go on sale 11 February.

According to Ticketmaster’s blog, speculative list is when unofficial sellers show tickets for sale without actually having tickets – bet they will be able to get tickets and then resell them to fans. The practice is considered fraud and is illegal in many states.

“Speculative ticket forces are strengthening real fans to compete against dealers who acquire tickets to fulfill the speculation they made,” read the blog. “These dealers actually prevent fans from getting tickets through a legitimate source like Ticketmaster.”

Fans responded to Ticketmaster’s warning with IRE after complaints about sky-rocked high fare trial from the Ministry of Justice.

“Should you arrange the ridiculous dynamic pricing to make the experience like other countries ??” answered an x user.

“And how are we not getting scammed from you?” asked someone else.

The Department of Justice sued Live Nation Entertainment and its subsidiary Ticketmaster in May 2024 and claimed that the company has a monopoly alive concert industry and that it hurts fans, innovation, artists and venues.

Fans can buy tickets for general sales starting February 14 at noon at local time online at Beyonce.com. However, Presale tickets will be available from noon on February 11 to February 11 12 local time.

In addition, there will be sponsored presales. However, they will take place in selected markets internationally:

  • US – Citi Presale: CITI card members have access to pre -sale tickets in the US, which begins at 1 p.m. February 12 to February 13 through the Citi Entertainment program.
  • US – Verizon Up Presale: All Verizon customers have access to an exclusive advance sale for selected shows. This begins at noon local time on February 12 until 13 February.
  • UK + France – Mastercard Presale: MasterCard card holders have special access to advance sale tickets in London and Paris. This advance sale starts noon local time on February 12 and ends February 13.
