Ladanian Tomlinson broke Hall of Fame News to Antonio Gates in emotional video

The Pro Football Hall of Fame officially announced their class on 2025 on Thursday night, with the former NFL tight end Antonio Gates among those to be introduced in the coming August.

Gates-a career San Diego Charger-had the special news broken to him by long-term teammate and colleague Hall of Famer Ladanian Tomlinson. Check the healthy interaction below as it is shared by ESPNS ADAM SCHOFT ON X (Former Twitter):

Great things between the two former teammates – who played with chargers from 2003 to ’09.

A former Kent State Basketball player, Gates went out in 2003, before signing up with San Diego and continued to put together the first team of all-pro-seasons, two other teams all-pro-seasons and were selected for the eight Pro Bowls from 2004 to ’11.

Gates will be introduced to Canton, Ohio’s Pro Football Hall of Fame this coming August with Eric Allen, Jared Allen and Sterling Sharpe.
