Hib’s attitude at Rocky Bushiri ready as interested club desperate after landing him with their window still open

Hibs hung on Key Man Elie Youan over the transfer window in January after it looked for the whole world as he was moving on.

Hibs had offers from Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City for the French Spider, the latter submitting a bid of £ 1.5 million for Youan, who seemed to be tempted.

Another player they held in was Rocky Bushiri.

The commanding mid -back has been a huge part of Hibs’ resurrection this season, but is out of contract in the summer and had an interest in the winter window.

The hips actually started a deadline for Bushiri, allegedly worth six characters and came from a top Belgian side.

It may have been tempting as a last chance for the Easter Road to pay, but they stuck in the middle of a belief that they would not be able to get a replacement of such good quality on short notice.

But the interest in Dr. Congo International has not stopped there.

HIBS rejects Zamalek -Bud on Bushiri

Egyptian Giants Zamalek was reported earlier today for being interested in Bushiri and determined to enter into an agreement as per. HIBS Observer.

Despite the closure of the transfer window here, theirs remain open and they wanted the 25-year-old to strengthen their backline.

It was claimed that the negotiations were continued between the two clubs as they appeared to come to an agreement on an appropriate fee.

But Daily record Now reports that Hibs has again resisted the temptation to sell and rejected Zamalek’s offer.

Hibes’ attitude towards Bushiri has not changed, and he will now see the season with them, at the moment an ordinary in the heart of their back three.

Hibs ‘stronger’ after the transfer window

Hibs signed only one player, midfielder Alasana Manneh, under the transfer window and some supporters have questioned why they did not do more business.

But Tam McManus insists that the Hibeers have emerged from the window stronger.

He told Daily record: “Hibs only made a registration in the January window, while at least four players were back for good – but they still came out of the window stronger than they went in.

“And that’s because they have managed to clear a good bit of Deadwood, who was messed up on the dressing room and did nothing and more importantly suck up too much of David Gray’s salary budget.

“Gray’s team that came in in January was as bloated as my stomach after a month long festive binge. But unlike my gut, it has been streamlined thanks to an effective month of pruning the fat.

“Hibs have previously been guilty of just signing organs to reassure fans, but they have resisted it. David Gray now has a densely composed group that is on an upward course against the euro spots.

“The addition of Alasana Manneh in the middle of the park is exciting and they have managed to hold on to Elie Youan. Releasing Harry McKirdy, Luke Amos and Jake Doyle-Hayes makes good sense, while Nohan Kenneh’s loan to Ross County will also spell the end of his time at Hibs.

“I am glad that Youan stayed after Stoke allegedly failed with a seven -digit bid.

“The Frenchman gives you another option wide or ahead and together with Martin Boyle he is the only one who threatens behind with pace. I still expect him to be gone in the summer if the right bid comes in, but for now he can be a massive player as Hibs goes after a euro spot and a Scottish Cup race. “
