UFC returns to Montreal after 10-year absence, planes UFC 315 for May 10

Montreal-UNFC returns to Montreal after a 10-year absence.

The mixed martial arts promotion says the Bell Center will host the UFC 315 on May 10th. It marks UFC’s eighth show in Montreal and 35. Total in Canada, scattered between 11 cities.

No matches have yet been announced for the Payment-Per-View card.

The UFC last came to Montreal in April 2015, when the then flight champion Demetrious (Mighty Mouse) defeated Japan’s Kyoji Horiguchi in the main event in UFC 186.

Montreal staged UFC’s first show in Canada, UFC 83 in April 2008, when the local favorite Georges St-Pierre stopped Matt (Terror) Serra in the second round to regain its welterweight title.

Other Canadian cities for scene UFC shows are Toronto (seven cards), Vancouver (six), Edmonton (three), Calgary, Halifax Ottawa and Winnipeg (two) and Moncton, Quebec City and Saskatoon (EN).

The campaign’s last show in Canada was a match night card last November in Edmonton. The main event saw former aircraft weight master Brandon (The Assassin Baby) Moreno win a decision on Amir (Prince) Albazi.
