Bucks vs. Atlanta Hawks Preview, Starting Time, TV Schedule and Damage Report

Milwaukee Bucks will play their last match of this three-game road trip against Atlanta Hawks at the State Farm Arena. This will be the first game for both sides after the trading deadline and both teams were very active before and on the deadline day. The last time these two teams met was in the NBA Cup semi -finals in December when Bucks defeated the Hawks with eight on their way to an NBA Cup championship.

Where we are at

It’s been a very emotional last couple of days in Bucks fandom. They said goodbye to franchise icon Khris Middleton who was traded to Washington Wizards (Trade was completed and announced last night). The team came back on the right track after losing four in a row and beating Charlotte Hornets Wednesday. Damian Lillard had a spectacular 29-point and 12-assisted double-double, while Bobby Portis set 23 points, 17 rebounds and five assists in the victory after returning to the lineup.

So rough as it has been for bucks this last stretch of games it has not been much better for Atlanta Hawks. After beating that defense champion Boston Celtics On January 18, the three matches were over .500 with a 22-19 record. They have since passed 1-9 over their last 10, including eight just after beating Boston. Then Jalen Johnson went down after their fight against Houston Rockets on January 28, and it’s been downhill since. They got a two-point victory over Detroit stamps Monday, but followed it with a loss to San Antonio Spurs In the debut of De’Aaron Fox Wednesday 126-125.

Damage report

Brook Lopez (left knee contusion) and Lillard (left groin tenderness) are likely, while Giannis is questionable with the left veal density.

On Atlanta’s side of things, Clint Capela will be out for personal reasons, just as the young sensation Jalen Johnson will after he had operated on his left shoulder. Trae Young is probable while dealing with right Achilles tendon inflammation.

Plays to look at

It will always be a tough day in the office for the Bucks guards when Dyson Daniels are on the floor of the hawks. While he has only scored a total of 20 points in his two previous meetings against Bucks this season, he average two stealing per day. Match with five rebounds and 5.5 assists.
