Hunter Schapher’s Beauty Mood Board includes ‘The Virgin Suicides’ and Kate Moss’s Party-Girl-Era

Hunter Schapher is as bold with her beauty as she is with her fashion. Through her continued collaboration with stylist Dara Allen, she is designed memorable, high-risk outlook and accumulated enough vintage Prada to start a foundation. But it is with hairdresser Jillian Halouska The Schapher Craft Dreaming, Referal Hair Moments.

And of course, hair was all part of the storytelling of Paris Couture Week, where participants became fantastic and feminine with their beauty. The Kind of kindness Actor participated in Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s guest collection for Jean Paul Gaultier and leaned into the shipwrecked chic aesthetics in the runway. She wore a stumping white lace peplum top with cropped flared pants and contrasting black carving tap. The composition of some harder edges followed through with her shaken hair, which Halouska describes as “a hybrid of a pirate-à la Keira Knightley-and Kate Moss (I) late-night club days.”

“It is an ode to imperfection, a shaken tumble of nonchalant and négligé, wavy, mussed-up curls,” she explains, “a little undeveloped, perfectly imperfect and very sexy.” It’s like she’s dancing all night, her hair a little neglected, but she’s past caring. The hairdresser came armed with ORIBE GOLD LIGHT NEEDING HAIR OIL. Bumble and Bumble’s Sumo Liquid Wax Sprayand several sizes of curling iron.

She started by curling random pieces with curling iron in different sizes before turning them up using the cool setting of the wind -dried for a wind -blown effect, pulled some threads more straight and crushing other bits to create different structures. She applied a generous amount of hair oil everywhere to give it lived, come-hit attitude and used spray wax on the roots to turn Schapher’s hair to the side. Halouska cut the front pieces to fall over her eye and gave a “laissez-faire moment.”

“It gives it its own life, its own personality,” says Halouska. “I love the freedom and the swelling this gives her and how the hair of the hair plays with the blonde. It feels nostalgic, yet new. “
