A must-Watch Hidden Pearl Thriller with 92% on Rotten Tomatoes is about to be pulled from Hulu

Hulu is losing one of his best movies in a few days, and you may not even realize because the movie is not almost as known as it should be. But you can change that by streaming it over the weekend.

The movie is called Beta testAnd it leaves Hulu Monday, February 3rd, which means your last day to see it’s Sunday 2nd February. Honestly, I would say that the movie is good enough to justify registration for the streaming service if you are not already signed up.

Beta test is about a Sleazy Hollywood agent who receives a mysterious letter inviting him to a commitment-free sexual connection. Despite having a fiancé, he accepts, but after the meeting he begins to occupy the mysterious woman. This causes him to chase the person who sent him the letter while also trying to maintain his relationship with his fiancé and keep on top of his job.

Straddling thriller and dark comedy elements, the film is in the heart of a satire of Hollywood and the film industry, but it is also a gripping character study of its lead. It is quite reminiscent of Under Silver LakeOne of my favorite movies, but far less divisive.

This role is played by the man who also co-instrumented and co-wrote the film: Jim Cummings. Cummings are best known for taking these three roles in the phenomenal drama 2018 Thunder Road and 2020 -drag The wolf of snow hole (which is added to the ROKU channel on Sunday, February 2nd, if you haven’t seen it).

It is an impressive trio of film and each of them has a rotten tomatoes rating of 90% or more. Beta test is the middle of the three with a 92% score, with critics praising their tone and history most of all.

Participation in Cummings is co-author and co-instructor PJ McCabe, who plays the protagonist’s best friend and Virginia Newcombe, who plays her fiancé.

The film was released in 2021, when it played on a couple of film festivals before getting a little theater run in November. Despite its high quality, most people haven’t heard of it, which is why you have to catch it before it leaves Hulu.

If you like to twist Thriller -Movies I would recommend to act quickly to watch Beta test As soon as you can, the digital home after Monday has not been confirmed. In fact, I would recommend all Cummings’ films, especially with Twosh To be free of roku users soon too, but if you want to see Thunder Road You will need to buy or rent it digitally.

Other deviations from Hulu include soon Spencer Friday 7th February and Titane Friday, February 15, but there is much that is new at Hulu and worth looking at.
