The ringtone‘S NFL authors have made their Super Bowl selection between Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. Who is right, coming on Sunday night?

Nora Princiotti

Winner: Chiefs
Result: 27-24
MVP: Patrick Mahomes

The birds rely on feeding Saquon Barkley, and Steve Spagnuolo’s defense can box him just enough. Patrick Mahomes will crawl after two key feathers’ downs in the second half, and Chiefs will narrowly make history with a three-peat. This is exactly what they do.

Sheil Kapadia

Winner: Eagles
Result: 24-21
MVP: Barkley

Does it feel good to choose against mahomes? Of course not. But I think Eagles will be able to get rid of massive races with Barkley, and their defense leader by not allowing explosive spectacles. This looks like it will be a closely disputed back and forth games that were first decided before the fourth quarter-or later. I think the Eagles violation gets the ball at the end and needs a few first downs to the ice cream game and they will get through and never give Mahomes one last chance to steal it.

Steven Ruiz

Winner: Chiefs
Result: 23-17
MVP: Mahomes

I do not make the mistake of choosing against mahomes in a big game. It also helps that this version of the Chiefs violation is built to go on carefully long drive-end mostly to Mahomes’ effectiveness-as is the best way to counteract the bend-but-do-break style, like Vic Fangio’s defense plays. Kansas City even got a good matchup on the other side of the ball, with spagnuolo, who worked out creative flashes (to fight races and pass) and coverage of disguises to cause Jalen some problems when he acts as a pocket passer. I see for me a game of low possession with mahomes that controls the pace through effective, fast passing. If Spags defense can get one or two splashes, while Barkley prevents Barkley from tearing off big races, Chiefs should finish their three-peat.

Diante Lee

Winner: Eagles
Result: 27-23
MVP: AJ Brown

I’m probably going to regret this choice, but Eagles have benefits in too many matchups for me to ignore. Philadelphia’s skills position talent puts pressure on defense before the ball is even snapped and its offensive line creates space against everyone it is facing. If the highest priority for the Chiefs defense is to load the line with review and take Barkley away (as it should be), I can see the Eagles violation take enough deep shots to tilt the game’s balance in favor. And I think the Eagles defense is well designed to keep Kansas City’s passing games that are recovering. Maybe Mahomes can put his cloak on and win the game itself, but it’s the only path I see for a three-peat and I’m not sure it will be enough if Eagles play their best game on Sunday.

Lindsay Jones

Winner: Chiefs
Result: 28-27
MVP: Travis Kelce

I chose the bosses during the forecast. I chose chiefs at the start of the playoffs. So it would be some feigt bullshit to go out now. In short, chiefs have the best quarterback and head coach and offensive game caller in this game (the defensive coordinator matchup is a push), and although Eagles have a talent benefit in almost any position, I think it is impossible to choose against the most coupling team after the season In this generation. Chiefs always find a way and they will do it again here and do history. Just don’t expect me to be happy with a Harrison Butker play-winning kick.

Danny Kelly

Winner: Chiefs
Result: 27-23
MVP: Mahomes

Eagles have one of the best offensive lines in the league, one of the best defensive lines, an excellent secondary, the best run back, a cheat code card-yardage in Tush-Push, and perhaps the deepest list in the NFL . They are a prototypically built team that dominates in the trenches and end games with a top-tier pass Rush and Earth-You-Toust Run game. But I still want to say basically exactly the same thing I have said at this point in the last two years: Chiefs have Mahomes, so I choose them.

Danny Heifetz

Winner: Chiefs
Result: 27-24
MVP: Mahomes

Mahomes is Michael Jordan. As much as I fear Jalen Carter Versus Mike Caliendo and Devonta Smith at Chamarri Conner and Mahomes, who potentially need Hollywood Brown and Xavier, worth knowing where the sidelines are, I bet Michael Jordan.
