Who is Parvesh Verma?

Parvesh comes from a prominent political family in Delhi, being the son of former BJP leader and Delhi chief minister SaHib Singh Verma. His Uncle Azad Singh served as North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor and disputed from Mundka constituency on a BJP ticket during 2013 -Assembly measurements.
Born in 1977, Parvesh Verma completed his schooling at Delhi Public School, RK Puram, and then got his Bachelor of Arts from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi.

After this he pursued an MBA in the Fore School of Management.
His entry into politics began in 2013 when he secured victory in the Delhi -Legend Assembly, representing the Mehrauli election circle.
He achieved further success by winning the Western Delhi-parliamentary seat in 2014, followed by a win with landslide in 2019, winning by a margin of 5.78 Lakh.
During his term of office as a MP, he has been a member of the Joint Committee on Wages and Allowance for MPs and has worked in the standing committee for urban development.
Before the election in Delhi in 2025, Parvesh Verma began a campaign called “Remove Kejriwal, Save the Nation,” which criticized the current AAP administration for not fulfilling their primary obligations.
In his campaign, Verma strongly condemned the Delhi government’s administrative performance, specifically in terms of their handling of pollution problems, security for women and the development of citizen infrastructure. He specifically pointed out their unfulfilled obligation to clean the Yamuna River, which remains a significant environmental challenge for the city.
