Since the ceasefire in Israel-Hamas came into force on January 19, 13 Israeli or double-national hostages have been released along with five Thai hostages released outside the agreement for the first phase.

The BBC has some more information about the 183 Palestinian prisoners and prisoners who are expected to be released by Israel on Saturday in the fifth exchange of the current ceasefire.

The Israel Prison Service says it has received a list of prisoners who are expected to be released today but have not published the names of this list.

The prisoners will be led to reception centers in the OFER and KTZIOT prisons, where they will be held until the Israeli hostages are released, the prison service said.

Some prisoners will then be driven to a release point on the occupied West Bank, with others led to the Kerem Shalom border crossing to Gaza.

As part of the ceasefire, Israel has agreed to release 1,900 Palestinian prisoners, including some detained free of charge.

A convoy of Red Cross vehicles is on its way to a hostage survivor location in Central Gaza’s Deir Al-Balah, Times of Israel has quoted an Israeli defense manager as I said.

Hamas will hand over the three Israeli hostages to the Red Cross. As sent earlier, they will then be brought to Israel Defense Forces troops in Gaza and escorted out of the strip.
